McDonald's Celebrates Grimace's Birthday with Purple Shake and Meal

McDonald's is launching a limited-time purple milkshake in honor of Grimace's 52nd birthday. Grimace, a character created by McDonald's for children, was originally named Evil Grimace but was later toned down and turned into a fuzzy purple blob who loves milkshakes. The Grimace birthday meal will include a choice of a Big Mac or 10 chicken McNuggets, medium-sized french fries, and the purple milkshake, which is a blended mixture of vanilla soft serve ice cream swirled with berry flavors. The promotion will be available at participating restaurants beginning June 12, until supplies last.
