"The Assassin" Targets For-Profit College Giant Adtalem

Fahmi Quadir, known as "The Assassin" for her successful short selling, has targeted for-profit education company Adtalem Global Education, citing concerns about its financial stability and the quality of its programs. Quadir's firm, Safkhet Capital, claims that Adtalem is "completely uninvestable" and predicts that many of its programs will fail to meet Department of Education standards. Adtalem has responded to Quadir's criticisms, stating that it is cooperating with the Department of Education's investigation and expects the majority of its programs to pass the gainful employment rule.
