"Starbucks Introduces Eco-Friendly Cold Drink Cups with 20% Less Plastic"

Starbucks has introduced a new line of cold beverage cups made with up to 20% less plastic, part of the company’s commitment to reduce its carbon, water, and waste footprints by 2030. The cups are set to debut in U.S. and Canadian stores this month and are projected to save emissions equivalent to taking 5,200 cars off the road annually, while also conserving about 2,800 Olympic-sized swimming pools of water. Additionally, Starbucks will now allow the use of reusable cups for drive-thru and mobile orders, offering a 10-cent discount to customers who bring their own cups.
