Corio and TotalEnergies Forge Ahead with US Offshore Wind Projects

Attentive Energy, a New York-based development company, has released new information on its proposed wind energy project off the coast of New Jersey. The project, located 42 miles off Seaside Heights, aims to provide enough energy to power 600,000 homes. The company believes its site has the best positioning in terms of wind resources and assures that the turbines will not be visible from the shoreline. The state has received bids from other companies for offshore wind projects, as it aims to become the East Coast hub for the industry. Opposition to offshore wind development has been raised by homeowners and residents' groups, citing environmental and economic concerns. Attentive Energy is also pursuing another offshore wind project in New York.
