Rivian Owners Gain Access to Tesla Supercharger Network

Rivian owners can now charge their electric trucks and SUVs at Tesla Supercharger stations using a Tesla-made adapter, with access to over 15,000 new DC fast chargers across the US. Rivian plans to manufacture its vehicles with the Tesla North American Charging Standard (NACS) inlet starting in 2025 and is sending out one adapter per customer for free, with the ability to navigate to Superchargers through their vehicle’s infotainment system and handle payment through Rivian’s app. Tesla CEO Elon Musk has stated that the Supercharger network was never intended to be a "walled garden," and Rivian customers can access most V3 Superchargers using the adapter.
