Kia's EV9 SUV: Upgrades, Autonomy, and Performance.

Kia has announced that its all-electric three-row SUV, the EV9, will offer paid over-the-air feature updates through the Kia Connect Store. The store will allow owners to purchase digital features and services, or upgrade the capability of the EV9 with OTA updates at any time. The store will offer a range of options, including a Boost feature that ups the torque output of the EV9's powertrain by 74 lb-ft, a remote parking-assist system, and content streaming services for passengers. The pricing on individual features for the EV9 has not yet been announced, but both one-time payment and subscription-based options will be available.
