Range Rover's Highly Anticipated Electric Vehicle Sparks Excitement with Pre-Orders and Teasers

Jaguar Land Rover has opened up waiting list signups for its upcoming fully electric Range Rover EV, set to debut in 2024. The electric SUV is currently in the physical prototype phase and will offer performance similar to existing V8 Range Rovers. It will feature 800-volt rapid charging capabilities, although the necessary infrastructure is not yet widely available. The Range Rover EV is undergoing rigorous testing in extreme temperatures and will be built on JLR's Modular Longitudinal Architecture. JLR aims to invest $19 billion in electric and autonomous vehicle technology over the next five years, with a goal of becoming electric-first by 2030.
