Toyota is recalling 168,000 2022 and 2023 Tundra and Tundra Hybrid trucks in the US due to a plastic fuel tube that could rub against a brake line and develop a fuel leak, potentially causing a fire. This is the largest recall for Toyota this year. The company will replace the tube for free and install protective materials and a clamp on the fuel tube. This is the seventh recall for the Tundra model, with previous recalls involving issues with the electronic parking brake system, loose axle nuts, and a software problem with the rearview camera.
