"Courageous Women's Harrowing Battle: Fighting Off Cougar to Save Friend's Life"

A group of women in Washington state rescued their friend from a cougar attack while on a biking trip, with one of the cougars dragging the victim from her bike and holding her face in its jaw. The women fought off the cougar for about 45 minutes, with one of them choking the animal and others using sticks and a rock. The injured cyclist was eventually able to escape, and emergency responders arrived to shoot the cougar.
