"PlayStation 5 Pro: Leaked Specs Point to Powerful CPU and GPU Upgrade"

Rumors suggest that the yet-to-be-announced PlayStation 5 Pro will feature a custom eight-core Zen 2 CPU running in the low 4 GHz range and a 60 compute units RDNA 3 custom GPU running at 2500-2800 MHz. The console is also rumored to have 16 GB GDDR6 memory, possibly double the Tempest Engine performance, and two shader engines. However, these specifications are unconfirmed until Sony officially announces the console. In the meantime, Sony has announced a new slimmer PlayStation 5 hardware revision with increased storage and compatibility with a detachable disc drive, which will be released in November.
