GOP Rep. Tom Tiffany Declines Senate Challenge Against Baldwin in Wisconsin
GOP Rep. Tom Tiffany of Wisconsin has announced that he will not challenge Democratic Sen. Tammy Baldwin for her US Senate seat next year, opting instead to run for reelection in the House of Representatives. This follows Wisconsin Rep. Mike Gallagher's decision to also pass on a Senate bid. Republicans have yet to field a top-tier challenger against Baldwin, though businessman Eric Hovde may run for the seat. Tiffany stated that he believes he can make a greater impact by continuing to serve the people of Wisconsin in the House.
