The Kansas City Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting that occurred in Westport early Saturday morning, leaving one adult male dead. The victim was found lying in the street with apparent gunshot wounds and was declared deceased by EMS. There is no suspect information at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
