Man convicted of drunk driving in fatal crash that killed WMU student.

Man convicted for fatal crash that claimed WMU student's life.

New arenas set to boost sports and economy in Kalamazoo.

A new privately-funded 320,000-square foot arena is expected to be built in downtown Kalamazoo, Michigan, which will host more than 230 events a year and create 700 jobs. The $300 million project will be home to the Kalamazoo Wings and Western Michigan’s basketball and hockey teams. The arena is expected to pump $57 million annually into the local economy.
