
Man convicted of drunk driving in fatal crash that killed WMU student.
Hunter Hudgins, a 20-year-old man, was found guilty of hitting and killing Bailey Broderick, a 19-year-old Western Michigan University student, in a drunk driving accident. Hudgins was driving members of a fraternity to a football game when the accident occurred. He was found guilty of one felony count of operating under the influence or while impaired by liquor causing death and one misdemeanor count of person under 21 with a blood alcohol content of .02 to .07%. Hudgins' sentencing is scheduled for June 5.
