Utah has banned the novel 'Wicked' by Gregory Maguire from all K-12 schools, citing its adult content, along with other books like 'The Perks of Being a Wallflower' and 'Nineteen Minutes,' due to their themes and content, as part of a statewide effort to remove books deemed inappropriate or pornographic.
The BYU men's and women's cross-country teams secured second-place finishes in the NCAA Mountain Regional Cross-Country Championships, earning them spots in the NCAA championships. Northern Arizona, the top-ranked team in both men's and women's national polls, claimed victory in both races. BYU's men's team finished with 89 points, while the women's team had three runners in the top 10.
