Chuck Lorre, the creator of hit TV shows such as Two and a Half Men and The Big Bang Theory, has donated $30 million to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles to create the Chuck Lorre School of Allied Health. The school will provide training in six healthcare areas and aims to address pay disparities that impact underrepresented communities seeking jobs in the healthcare industry. The school is set to open in 2024 and will offer programs ranging from six to 24 months, with students able to start their careers at Cedars-Sinai upon completion.
