Turkey's Navy Boosts Drone Capabilities with New Flagship and Amphibious Assault Ship.

The Turkish Navy has officially commissioned its new flagship, TCG Anadolu, which will be the first warship in the world capable of landing and taking off drones with the largest and heaviest helicopters. The ship will have a capacity of deploying 12 manned or unmanned combat aircraft, 21 different types of helicopters, and UCAVs as air assets. TCG Anadolu will also be transformed into a drone carrier after the US broke the partnership with Turkey on the F-35 JSF project. The ship will strengthen the Turkish Navy's force projection capabilities and the country's defense budget will reach $75 billion in the following period.
