"Northern Va. man spearheads temporary village project to aid Moroccan earthquake survivors"

Youssef Zeroual, a Moroccan immigrant living in Northern Virginia, is leading an effort to build temporary villages for earthquake survivors in Morocco. Working with a Moroccan charity called Jood, Zeroual plans to send building supplies to construct these villages and provide temporary housing until the Moroccan government can rebuild the destroyed villages. So far, 25 temporary villages have been approved, but Zeroual hopes to create more than 50. He has secured warehouse space in Virginia and is working on logistics for accepting and shipping donations. Other organizations in the D.C. area are also accepting monetary donations for relief efforts.
