"Gaza's Humanitarian Aid Challenges Amid Israel-Hamas Conflict"
Satellite images show the construction of a makeshift jetty on the Gaza coastline, as the territory awaits a temporary port announced by President Biden to facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid. The jetty, being built by the charity World Central Kitchen, is expected to receive a shipment of nearly 200 tons of food from Cyprus. Other world leaders have expressed concern over the need to bring humanitarian aid to Gaza, with the Egyptian Foreign Minister stating that the temporary port is expected to be completed in two months. In the meantime, the U.S. and other countries have been airdropping food into northern Gaza to help alleviate the situation.
