Temasek's Worst Returns in 7 Years Amid Market Slump and Crypto Uncertainties
Singapore's state investment firm, Temasek Holdings, has reported its worst annual returns in seven years, with its portfolio value declining by 2.2% to SGD 306 billion ($214 billion) for the fiscal year ending March 2020. The decline was attributed to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on global markets, as well as the collapse in oil prices. Despite the challenging environment, Temasek remains confident in its long-term investment strategy and continues to focus on sectors such as technology, life sciences, and sustainability.
