Gaby Maurice, a 16-year-old girl from Cambridgeshire, was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare cancer, after a pea-sized lump in her cheek grew to the size of a tennis ball in just six weeks. She underwent chemotherapy, surgery, and proton beam therapy, experiencing hair loss and other side effects.
