Suzuki facility to manufacture SkyDrive's redesigned eVTOL.

SkyDrive has announced a basic agreement with Suzuki Motor Corporation to assist in producing its newly redesigned SKYDRIVE eVTOL aircraft. The eVTOL can now carry three people and haul an additional 700 pounds of weight, and fly about 5-10km further on a single charge. SkyDrive will establish a wholly-owned subsidiary with Suzuki to manufacture the eVTOL at a Suzuki Group production facility in Japan, with plans to begin building by spring 2024. The companies aim to obtain airworthiness certification for the Expo 2025 Osaka in Japan for its individual aircraft to be operated in accordance with the necessary standards.
