Suzuki Launches First EV: The 2025 e Vitara SUV
Suzuki has unveiled its first electric vehicle, the E Vitara, developed in collaboration with Toyota. This 4WD-capable compact SUV will be produced in India and is set to launch in Europe, India, and Japan by next summer. The E Vitara will feature a lithium iron phosphate battery with options for 49 kWh or 60 kWh capacities, offering up to 400 km on a single charge. Despite its lower power output compared to competitors, the E Vitara marks a significant step for Suzuki and Toyota in the EV market, although it won't be available in the US initially.
