Ookla's Speedtest report for Q4 in the U.S. revealed that the Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max was the fastest phone, with the Qualcomm Snapdragon X70 5G modem chip leading in download and upload speeds. "Next-Level Speed: T-Mobile and Verizon Boost 5G Home Internet"

According to Speedtest Intelligence's Q3 2023 report, 5G home internet services have seen an increase in speeds, averaging 213.75 Mbps down and 23.71 Mbps up. T-Mobile and Verizon experienced strong growth in the second quarter, with a combined 890,000 net new subscribers, outpacing the rest of the broadband industry. AT&T has also joined the 5G home internet race. The top wireline phone companies lost 510,000 DSL customers but gained 450,000 net new fiber customers, resulting in a net loss of 60,000 customers in Q2.
