The new standard offers double the channel bandwidth of Wi-Fi 6E, introduces Multi-Link Operation for enhanced speed and stability, and will be backward-compatible with previous Wi-Fi versions. While existing Wi-Fi 7 routers are available, certification ensures interoperability and guarantees the full benefits of the standard.
