Canon's MS-500 Camera: Ultra-High-Sensitivity for Night Vision and Long-Distance Capture

Canon has announced the MS-500, the world's first ultra-high-sensitivity interchangeable-lens SPAD sensor camera. With a 3.2-megapixel SPAD sensor, the MS-500 can capture Full HD high-resolution color images with a small sensor. It is primarily designed for surveillance applications and features an industry-standard B4 bayonet lens mount. The camera's SPAD sensor allows for accurate light detection with less noise compared to CMOS sensors, enabling clear color video shooting even in low-light environments. The MS-500 is set to be available in September 2023 for $25,200 USD.

Canon Unveils Game-Changing Night Vision Camera with Long-Range Subject Detection

Canon is set to release the world's first ultra-high-sensitivity interchangeable-lens camera equipped with a Type 1 Single Photon Avalanche Diode (SPAD) image sensor. The camera offers incredible low-light performance, high resolution, and the ability to use Canon's broadcast lenses. With the combination of these features, the camera can capture clear color videos of subjects several miles away, even at night. The SPAD sensor counts each light particle that reaches every pixel, enabling the detection of even small amounts of light. The camera also includes custom picture functions to improve visibility, reduce noise and haze, and adjust contrast and image brightness. The Canon MS-500 SPAD Sensor Camera will be available in September 2023 for $25,200.

Canon Unveils Long-Range Night Vision Camera with Interchangeable Lenses.

Canon has developed the MS-500, the world's first ultra-high-sensitivity interchangeable-lens camera featuring a Type 1 Single Photon Avalanche Diode (SPAD) image sensor. The 3.2-megapixel SPAD sensor promises impeccable low-light performance, and the MS-500 works with telephoto broadcast lenses, enabling long-distance monitoring. The camera can accurately capture distant objects with extreme precision even in very low light, including nighttime scenes with no ambient starlight. The MS-500 will be displayed at Canon's booth during the 2023 NAB Show in Las Vegas later this month and will go on sale sometime this year.
