Emergency Landing: Plane from Dulles Airport Lands on Northern Virginia Highway
A small passenger plane made an emergency landing on a highway in northern Virginia after taking off from Washington Dulles International Airport, with no injuries reported. The single-engine Cessna 208 Caravan, operated by Southern Airways Express, landed on the westbound lanes of Loudoun County Parkway, causing no damage to vehicles and only minor damage to a guardrail. The FAA will investigate the incident, and the airline confirmed that all seven people on board, including four adults, a 15-year-old boy, and two crew members, are safe.
