A freeze warning is in effect for southeast Louisiana and south Mississippi from 10 p.m. tonight until 10 a.m. Monday, with lows in the upper 20s and low 30s on the Northshore and low 30s to low 40s on the South Shore. Protect sensitive vegetation, bring pets inside, and check on people. Monday is the first day of spring, but it won't feel like it with highs in the 50s. Temperatures warm up after Monday, with highs climbing towards 70 on Tuesday afternoon and staying in the 70s and 80s through the rest of the week.
