
"Massive Rescue Operation Saves 23 Skiers and Snowboarders in Frigid Killington Backcountry"
Twenty-three skiers and snowboarders were rescued in Killington, Vermont after getting lost, with search and rescue crews hiking about five miles to bring 21 people to safety, including six juveniles, in single-digit temperatures. Later that same day, rescuers went back into the woods to bring two more lost skiers home to safety.
