Rock Hall's 2026 Class Bridges Pop, R&B and Hip-Hop
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has named 17 nominees for its 2026 class, spanning rock, pop, R&B and hip-hop, with first-time contenders Pink, Shakira and Lauryn Hill joining Phil Collins (already inducted with Genesis), Jeff Buckley, New Edition and Wu-Tang Clan; returning nominees include the Black Crowes, Mariah Carey, Billy Idol, Iron Maiden, Joy Division/New Order and Oasis. About 1,200 voters will decide the inductees, to be announced in April, in a lineup that reflects broad genres rather than a strictly rock roster, with country notably absent this year.
