Netflix's CCO Bela Bajaria addressed Vince McMahon's resignation after serious allegations of sexual trafficking and misconduct. She alleges that McMahon pressured her into a physical relationship in exchange for promises of employment and forced her to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) after his wife discovered the affair. The lawsuit seeks to invalidate the NDA and claims violations of the Trafficking Victims Prevention Act, while WWE's parent company, TKO Group Holdings, stated that McMahon does not oversee the day-to-day operations of WWE and is addressing the matter internally.
A New York federal judge has ordered the unsealing of a second batch of documents in a lawsuit involving Jeffrey Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre and Ghislaine Maxwell, revealing names previously redacted, including mentions of Bill Clinton and Prince Andrew. The documents contain a variety of content, such as email exchanges and deposition transcripts, detailing allegations and experiences related to Epstein's sexual trafficking network. While Clinton is not accused of wrongdoing, the documents include allegations against Prince Andrew and others. Ghislaine Maxwell, who has been convicted of sex trafficking charges, is appealing her conviction. The unsealing process is ongoing, with more documents expected to be released.
JPMorgan Chase is facing two civil lawsuits that claim the bank ignored warnings that Jeffrey Epstein was trafficking teenage girls for sex because it was profiting from its relationship with him. The lawsuits were filed by lawyers representing Epstein's victims and the government of the U.S. Virgin Islands. New disclosures suggest that employees of the bank flagged Epstein's activity as suspicious on a number of occasions, while other documents show Epstein's familiarity with top executives at the bank, and his easy access to them, even after his 2008 guilty plea in Florida to soliciting prostitution from a teenage girl. JPMorgan's CEO, Jamie Dimon, is scheduled to be deposed on Friday at the bank's headquarters in Manhattan.
