Ruby Princess Sets Sail for Alaska After Repairs
The Ruby Princess cruise ship has left San Francisco after a 3-day layover to repair a punctured hull caused by a collision with the dock. The repairs were certified by the United States Coast Guard, and the ship is now safe to sail. Despite the shortened trip, most passengers remained upbeat and enjoyed exploring San Francisco during the unexpected stay. The Ruby Princess will continue its 7-day Pacific Northwest/Alaska cruise, visiting Ketchikan and Prince Rupert before returning to San Francisco as originally scheduled.
