"Galactic Black Hole's Rapid Spin Alters Space-Time, Scientists Discover"
Scientists have discovered that the supermassive black hole Sagittarius A* at the center of our galaxy is spinning rapidly, causing it to alter space-time around it. Using the outflow method, researchers calculated the rotational speed of the black hole and observed the Lense-Thirring effect, also known as frame dragging. While the altering of space-time is not a cause for concern, it provides valuable insights into the role of black holes in galaxy formation and evolution.
