No-hitter not enough: Minor league team loses despite impressive pitching performance.
The Chattanooga Lookouts scored seven runs in the seventh and final inning of the first game of a doubleheader against the Rocket City Trash Pandas, without a single hit, to win the game. The Trash Pandas were cruising with a three-run lead and just three outs away from a no-hitter, but their pitcher Ben Joyce walked the bases loaded and then hit three batters, allowing the Lookouts to score seven runs. The Trash Pandas scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh but ultimately lost the game.
