AMD Unveils New Radeon PRO W7000 and W7600 GPUs for Workstations

AMD has announced the release of two new graphics cards, the Radeon PRO W7600 and Radeon PRO W7500, as part of its Radeon PRO W7000 Series. These mainstream workstation graphics cards are designed to enhance performance and efficiency in professional industries such as Media & Entertainment, Design & Manufacturing, and Architecture, Engineering & Construction. The cards leverage the AMD RDNA 3 architecture and offer 2X higher TFLOPS performance and 1.5X higher maximum total data rate for displays compared to the previous generation. They also feature 8GB of high-speed GDDR6 memory and support ray-traced renderings. The Radeon PRO W7600 has a suggested retail price of $599 USD, while the Radeon PRO W7500 is priced at $429 USD.

AMD's New Radeon Pro W7900 and W7800 Workstation GPUs with RDNA3 Technology.

AMD has announced the next generation of high-end workstation cards, the Radeon Pro W7900 and Radeon Pro W7800, the first workstation-class cards based on AMD’s new RDNA 3 GPU architecture and associated Navi 31 GPU. The W7900 and W7800 are aimed at the traditional workstation market, offering more RAM, more I/O, and more support than a consumer graphics card can provide. The W7900 is a fully-enabled (96 CU) Navi 31-based card with 48GB of GDDR6 memory, while the W7800 is a cut-down Navi 31 with 70 CUs enabled and 32GB of VRAM. Both cards come with identical feature sets, including ECC memory support and full DisplayPort 2.1 UHBR20 support.

AMD Launches New RDNA3 Workstation GPUs: Radeon Pro W7900 and W7800 with Up to 48GB Memory

AMD has announced the Radeon Pro W7900 and Pro W7800 GPUs, both featuring the RDNA3 architecture. The W7900 has 96 Compute Units and 48GB of GDDR6 ECC memory, while the W7800 has 70 Compute Units and 32GB of GDDR6 ECC memory. The W7900 will retail at $3,999 and the W7800 at $2,499, significantly cheaper than competitors. Both GPUs offer support for DisplayPort 2.1, 8K60 AV1 encode/decode media engine, and lower power consumption.
