Lanmaoa asiatica Sparks Consistent Tiny-People Hallucinations
A Chinese mushroom, Lanmaoa asiatica, can cause long-lasting 12–24 hour onset visions of tiny elf-like figures, often lasting up to three days and requiring hospitalization. Unlike psilocybin mushrooms, it does not contain psilocybin, and researchers note the hallucinations are unusually consistent across individuals.
