Tornado Wreaks Havoc in Eastern Oklahoma, Claremore Hit Hard
A tornado with preliminary EF-2 and later confirmed EF-3 damage struck areas near Pryor and Claremore, Oklahoma, causing significant destruction. The National Weather Service reported winds between 111-165 mph, damaging 30 houses and destroying at least 10. Photos show extensive damage to homes and buildings, including the First Baptist Church in Claremore.
