Astronaut Frank Rubio has returned to Earth after spending a record-breaking 371 consecutive days on the International Space Station (ISS), surpassing the previous American record of 355 days. Rubio's extended stay was due to a radiator leak caused by space debris, providing an unexpected opportunity to study prolonged spaceflight. During his mission, Rubio completed over 5,900 orbits of Earth, conducted scientific experiments, and carried out three spacewalks. Adjusting to life back on Earth may take two to six months due to potential health effects such as muscle degeneration and bone loss.
