Google is reportedly planning to release three different models of the upcoming Pixel 9, including the Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and the regular Pixel 9, with varying screen sizes and camera systems. The designs match previous leaks, with flat edges and rounded display corners, and the Pro tier will be split into two different sizes, following a strategy similar to the iPhone. The release is expected in 2024, with the company focusing on other devices such as the Pixel 8A and Pixel Fold 2 in the meantime.
With the Professional Soccer Referees Association (PSRA) locked out, the Professional Referees Organization (PRO) has lined up 66 replacement referees for the upcoming MLS season, including former national referees and officials with international experience. Matches hosted by Canadian-based clubs will be serviced by Canada Soccer, and former FIFA referee Mark Geiger will be available as a video assistant referee. The last lockout in 2014 saw seven replacement refs go on to have careers in PRO, and the current situation has raised concerns about the impact of using replacement referees on MLS games.
Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Watch6 family will have bigger batteries than the Watch5 devices. The Galaxy Watch6 will be offered in two sizes, as will the Galaxy Watch6 Classic. The Galaxy Watch6 40mm and the Galaxy Watch6 Classic 42mm will have a 300 mAh battery, while the Galaxy Watch6 44mm and the Galaxy Watch6 Classic 46mm will have a 425 mAh battery. The Classic line may feature the rotating bezel, which could explain the 2mm jump in size compared to the vanilla models.
