
ICJ Holds Public Hearings on Ukraine vs. Russia Genocide Case Objections
The International Court of Justice (ICJ) is holding public hearings on the preliminary objections raised by the Russian Federation in the case concerning allegations of genocide under the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide (Ukraine v. Russian Federation). The hearings will take place from September 18 to 27, 2023, at the Peace Palace in The Hague, with 32 states intervening. The session is being presided over by Judge Joan E. Donoghue, the President of the Court.
