Polyend has released the Tracker Mini, a portable version of its sampling groovebox, the Tracker. The Mini has a built-in battery, more memory, and a faster CPU than its predecessor, and is capable of holding up to eight minutes of mono samples in its pool. It has eight tracks of audio and/or MIDI, all the same sample editing tools, effects, beat slicing features, granular and wavetable synthesizers, and is capable of building an entire song or even album. The Tracker Mini is available for pre-order for $699 and will start shipping in July.
