Massachusetts Detective Arrested for Assaulting Disney Security and Deputy
Massachusetts police detective Duane Danforth is facing criminal charges in Florida after allegedly assaulting two security guards and a sheriff’s deputy at a Disney theme park. Danforth, who has been placed on paid administrative leave, is accused of trying to enter a private event, threatening to kill a security guard, and resisting arrest. He is charged with battery, assault and battery on law enforcement, and resisting an officer without violence, and remains under investigation by both the Orange County Sheriff’s Office and the Brookline Police Department.
