New Jersey Man Sentenced to 12 Years for Violent Jan. 6 Capitol Riot
New Jersey electrician Christopher Joseph Quaglin was sentenced to 12 years in prison for repeatedly attacking police officers during the January 6 Capitol riot. Quaglin insulted U.S. District Judge Trevor McFadden, who called him "a menace to our society." Quaglin's actions included choking, tackling, and using stolen police equipment against officers. He was convicted of 14 counts and is among the longest sentences given in Capitol riot cases.
