Bird Strikes Southwest Flight During Landing at Burbank Airport, Damaging Plane Nose
A Southwest Airlines flight en route to Burbank from Las Vegas was damaged by a bird strike during landing, resulting in a large dent in the nose of the plane. However, the aircraft landed safely and no injuries were reported. The plane is now undergoing a maintenance review.
