Spanish jet narrowly avoids crash amid bird encounter at beach airshow
During the Gijón Air Festival in Spain, a flock of birds nearly caused a Spanish F-18 fighter jet to crash on a crowded beach, prompting an evasive maneuver by the pilot. The incident was captured on video and was part of standard safety protocols. The event drew over 300,000 spectators, marking the largest airshow in its history, amid recent similar wildlife-related incidents involving aircraft in Spain.
