The tape, published by the Daily Caller, showed two men engaging in sexual activity in the Hart Senate Office Building hearing room. Cardin's office confirmed that Maese-Czeropski is no longer employed by the Senate and declined to comment further on the matter. Maese-Czeropski posted a statement on LinkedIn denying involvement but acknowledging poor judgment in the past. The U.S. Capitol Police have not responded to inquiries about an investigation.
