The Decline and Rise of American IQ Scores.

A new study from Northwestern University suggests a "reverse-Flynn Effect" may be taking place in the United States, with IQ scores dropping in four out of five measurements. The decline was present across a large US sample covering between 2006 and 2018 in every category except 3D rotation. The study did not determine the reason for the decline in IQ scores, but researchers suggest possible explanations ranging from poor nutrition and worsening health to media exposures and changes to education.
