Multiple Fatalities in River Accidents on Colorado and Arkansas Rivers
One person died after being swept into a fast current while canoeing on the Colorado River in Eagle County, Colorado. The victim was found unresponsive in the river and attempts to resuscitate them were unsuccessful. All three people were wearing personal flotation devices.
