Former cabinet minister Nadine Dorries has delayed her resignation as MP for Mid Bedfordshire until she receives more information on why she was denied a peerage. Dorries accused Rishi Sunak's team of removing her name from Boris Johnson's resignation honours list. She has requested all correspondence around her removal and put in Subject Access Requests to the House of Lords Appointments Commission, Cabinet Secretary, and the Cabinet Office. While Dorries remains an MP, she can turn up in the House of Commons chamber to make her views known.
