Neighbor Chris Robinson, CEO of Ensign Group, purchased Pathfinder Ranches—Wyoming’s 916,000-acre operation (deeded acreage 99,188 acres; leases make up the rest)—for an undisclosed price. Ensign already owns nearby Stone Ranch and says it will actively operate Pathfinder and grow its cattle herd across Wyoming, Idaho and Utah (roughly 13,000 cows total) while pursuing improvements and potential lodge uses.
